My Mission
I know how it feels to be stuck
To not know what to do. To not know how to get out of your own head.
When everything feels tangled - life, thoughts, emotions - and nothing seems to make sense.
It’s like you’re watching life from the sidelines, unable to participate, unsure of how to even begin untangling what's going on inside, and in your life.
You want to move forward, but every direction feels overwhelming.
And you blame yourself - beat yourself up - while everyone else seems to have it all figured out.
This is something many of my clients come to me with, and I’ve been there too.
At one point, I couldn’t leave my room. I was battling deep trauma, grief, panic disorder, OCD, agoraphobia, cardiophobia, health anxiety - you name it.
People often don’t believe me when I share my full story.
But I not only survived it - I came out the other side stronger and more aligned than ever.
I know how it feels to wonder if things will ever get better.
But I also know with absolute certainty that recovery is possible.
The Key Lies Within You
I believe you can be your own therapist - and your own best friend—but you can also be the only thing standing in your own way. Let me explain.
Deep within you lies an innate wisdom that knows exactly what you need to feel better, heal, and grow. Your soul knows the way. You are the master soul.
But we’re rarely taught how to access this wisdom. No one teaches us how to listen to our bodies, tune into our intuition, or connect with our inner self - at least not in school, and often not even at home.
Through many years of extensive learning and research, I’ve discovered that this idea is far from new. The ancient masters understood deeply that the body possesses an unshakable, natural process of homeostasis and self-healing: the very same process that begins to heal your skin the moment you cut your hand. This innate ability to restore balance and health exists not only in the body but also in the soul. Mind, body, and spirit are all connected through this remarkable capacity to heal and renew themselves.
My Mission is to Change That
I’m here to empower you with practical tools, techniques, and methods that reconnect you with yourself - gently, safely, and effectively. I believe in sharing these tools freely and openly, because everyone deserves the chance to heal, thrive, and enjoy life fully.
Everything you need is already within you. Sometimes, it just takes the right guidance to uncover it.
And I’m here to be that guide - just as I once was for myself.
Why Holistic Counselling?
Over the past 15 years, I’ve studied both Western psychology and Eastern practices, everything from cognitive theories to ancient texts, mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, somatic therapies, and more. I’ve also been deeply influenced by the work of Gabor Maté, who teaches that trauma is not what happens to us - it’s what happens inside us as a result.
Holistic counselling is rooted in this understanding. It doesn’t separate the mind from the body, or the emotions from the physical self. Instead, it treats you as a whole being - mind, body, and soul.
What I’ve discovered, through working with hundreds of clients and on myself, is this: the emotions we hold - especially those tied to trauma, limiting beliefs, and unprocessed pain - don’t just live in our minds. They live in our bodies.
Most of us carry emotional blocks we don’t even know are there. Over time, these blocks affect how we feel, how we behave, and even how our bodies function. When ignored, they often manifest as physical symptoms, anxiety, exhaustion, or burnout. But when we address them - gently and safely - healing begins to unfold naturally.
The AYLA-Method
(Adjust / Assert Your Life Again)
The AYLA-method centres on reconnecting you with the present moment.
Unlike many traditional mainstream talking therapies that focus on revisiting the past - re-living traumatic experiences, overanalysing events, or fearing the future - this method is about coming back to yourself, right here, right now.
This is where real transformation happens.
The AYLA-method is trauma-informed but gentle, helping you to feel and release trapped emotions for good. From this place, you can begin to shift your stories, reshape your experiences, and influence both your future and your past.
Emotions are often stored in the body - this is the psycho-somatic connection that holistic counselling addresses.
Through this work, I help clear emotional blocks and energy imbalances that keep you feeling stuck. I teach you practical techniques you can use anytime because lasting change happens when you know how to guide yourself.
This work is not about fixing you - you don’t need fixing.
It’s about remembering who you truly are and creating space for that version of you to emerge - fully and freely.
